Romanza Interior Design creates elegant interiors to enhance 700 Admiralty Parade West estate in Port Royal

Award-winning Romanza Interior Design is an integral part of the dream team creating a custom luxury home by London Bay Homes now underway at 700 Admiralty Parade West in Port Royal.

To enhance London Bay Homes’ vision for the home, Romanza’s Michael Scott collaborated with Kukk Architecture & Design and Architectural Land Design to create an interior to complement the inspired home offering unobstructed views of Keewaydin Island.

Scott conceived a casually elegant, clean-lined coastal interior design for the Admiralty Parade West estate, with modern touches and neutral tones that enhance the easy livability of a home built to maximize both its idyllic location and the interplay between indoors and out.

“Each room is a balance of function, comfort and style,” Scott said, adding that he kept living spaces cohesive with elegant blonde maple that appears in wide plank flooring, as an architectural interest-adding ceiling design, and in the gourmet kitchen as a custom-designed range hood.

Scott emphasized the importance of developing appliance and cabinetry designs in parallel. He enlisted Soho Kitchens and Designs to create a continuous integrated flow of cabinet elevations using a mix of light maple and Shaker-style painted alabaster adorned with satin nickel edge pulls and handles. Dual islands accommodate meal preparation, extra storage and grand entertaining with extra seating for casual or formal gatherings. Linear lighting and LED technology remove wall clutter to maintain the sleek aesthetic.

In the home’s first floor study, Scott selected a suede wall covering near the bay window and a Kyle Bunting dyed-and-sewn cowhide rug to anchor a postmodern contemporary desk. With an automotive-style upholstered chair and a side table constructed of a glass-topped wooden steering wheel, Scott adds subtle whimsy to the space.

In the master suite, Scott chose a black and white Alfonso Marina king-size bed flanked by a pair of plantation shuttered windows. Its spa-style bath offers with separate vanities topped with Pompeii quartz and private water closets, along with a truly expansive, must-see “hers” closet and a customized lighted gallery case crafted of Italian glass designed to showcase shoes and purses or artwork.

A chic second-floor study features a warm wooden writing table, coupled with a nail head-trimmed leather chair and a pair of creamy credenzas, while the bonus room is outfitted as an ideal entertaining space, with casual sectional seating for movie screenings and a handsome built-in display wall for media

The indoor-outdoor connection is an integral component of the home’s design. An intuitively integrated interface will allow the homeowners to effortlessly control shades, shutters, interior lighting, pool settings, or even create timed events with dramatic pool and landscape lighting effects at night, or opening the master suite shades at dawn each day to gently awaken to the Southwest Florida sun.

Scheduled for completion in spring 2020, the estate offers five bedrooms, five full and two half bathrooms. To learn more about the custom estate, call 239-298-7605 or visit www.LondonBay.com.
