Romanza Interior Design, a full-service interior design firm, recently kicked off the “Sarasota Design Series” with a feature presentation from Melissa Allen at the newly completed Mandeville model by London Bay Homes in Spice Bay.
An award-winning senior interior designer at Romanza, Allen shared the latest trends for kitchen design during the first in the three-part designer series. The “What’s Cooking in Kitchen Design” presentation focused on the latest trends for kitchen design, including finishes, cabinetry, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and more.
Allen showcased design tips and trends that were incorporated into the Mandeville’s kitchen, which include stunning views of the Sarasota Bay along with rich-stained and white painted rift-cut oak veneer cabinetry, white cloud quartz countertops with a waterfall edge, and a mosaic backsplash with a crystal cave shell finish. Allen was also responsible for the home’s interior design, which showcases a transitional style that blends classic and modern elements.
Located in the waterfront community of Spice Bay on Siesta Key, the Mandeville was recently awarded Best Kitchen by the Manatee-Sarasota Builder Industry Association at the Parade of Homes awards ceremony, where it also picked up honors for Best Overall, Best Curb Appeal, Best Master Suite, Best Floor Plan and Best Architectural Detail.
Romanza will continue the design series on May 1, with tips and trends straight from the 2018 Spring High Point Market, the largest home furnishing industry trade show in the world showcasing the latest in retail home furnishings and interior design from more than 2,000 exhibitors.
