Romanza Interior Design receives two Sand Dollar Awards

Romanza Interior Design was honored with two coveted Sand Dollar Awards for its interior design of the Bianca model in Mediterra during the annual gala presented by the Collier Building Industry Association’s Sales and Marketing Council.

Garnering the professional Trade Associate Award for Best Kitchen and Best Master Suite, Romanza’s Luann Powers Gliwski imbued the Bianca with a sense of relaxed luxury while conveying a feeling of exceptional livability.

A vestibule from the great room creates a sense of anticipation as it leads to a master suite that defines an understatedly elegant retreat. The bedroom is enhanced with a subtle jewel-toned color palette with soft gold bedding and bronze and teal accents.

On the headboard wall, a niche is finished with a stone textured wallpaper that provides a beautiful backdrop for both artwork and a fully-upholstered platform bed finished with a light charcoal velvet and adorned with an array of pillows that add layers of pattern and texture, along with a velvet bench spanning the foot of the bed.

In the master bath, light grey stone-finished porcelain tile flooring is carried into the walk-in shower, which features an expansive glass door and perfectly positioned square windows that allow natural light to flood the space. The walls are covered with white porcelain tile with a marble finish and shades of grey veining. A soft neutral-toned vanity cabinet is topped by a Pompeii quartz counter surface.

In the kitchen, a pair of classic columns delineate the space as you enter from the great room and into the open space where creamy white tones define a sophisticated, streamlined design created for optimum functionality. Sleek flat- front cabinetry and open, lighted shelving adorned with simple hardware of brushed nickel line both sides of the kitchen space. Illuminated by dual pewter-finished pendants, a charcoal-toned base island cabinet with a horizontal grain affords both additional storage and casual seating, along with a prep sink with a single handle bar faucet.

With a location that takes advantage of sparkling lakefront views, the 3,735-square-foot Bianca model sold shortly after completion – confirmation of a winning design.
